Secure housing in Vienna

The
aim of the study was to identify hazard potentials of homelessness in the field
of Vienna council homes. Based on administration data including facts about the
apartment, lodgers, manners and costs, it should be examined, to what extend it
can be predicted if a household has to be regarded as ‘vulnerable’ concerning secure
housing.
Based
on that knowledge it should be possible to support an outreaching secure
housing through a specific setting of priorities. The intention was to improve
the accuracy of prevention measures of the outreaching work.
Data
consited of pseudonymized
data provided by Vienna housing (“Wiener Wohnen”), Vienna Municipal Council 24,
Viennese Assistance to the Homeless (“Wiener Wohnungslosenhilfe”) and register
of residents.
