Labour Foundations in South-East Europe – Needs and Implementation Options

The funding project “Labour foundations in South-East Europe – needs and implementation options” consists essentially of a feasibility study to check the conditions for the practical use of labour foundations in companies that are about to privatize or bankrupt or are domiciled in small regions where several municipal companies are getting closed.

The main goal of the project is the basic work for the development of concepts for the establishment of work foundations as pilot projects in South-East Europe. Important destination countries are states that are integrated into the EU Strategy for the Danube Region. Based on the initial survey results, the second phase of concept development focused on possible work foundations or foundation-like projects in Serbia and Croatia.
