Girls and Boys Work in Austria: Existing Cooperations and further Requirements

The aims of the project were:

• the analysis of existing cooperations and cooperation patterns (including divergence or competition patterns) between girls and boys counselling centres or generally between girls and boys work in Austria (preparation of a cooperation map) as well as the experiences gained
• the survey of current needs and possible common topics, interfaces and challenges (vocational orientation, Girls Day / Boys Day, violence prevention, offers for specific girl / boy groups with different socio-cultural backgrounds – intersectional approaches, new gender images…)
• the identification and elaboration of further development possibilities and favourable framework conditions in the field of cooperation and coordination between girls and boys work in Austria from the point of view of different players (funding recipients, sponsors), including possible arguments for separate developments
