Expertise: Gender Equality Related Employment Effects of Digitalisation

Nadja Bergmann (L&R Social
Research) and Irene Pimminger (defacto – Social Research and Consultation) were working on the expertise “gender equality related employment effects of
digitalisation”, which was published in the context of the third Commission
report on equality by the german government.

The expertise was created based on a
comprehensive literature analysis. The key issues include questions about
employment effects in the context of digitalisation such as substitution effects,
impacts on income and social security as
well as future qualification needs in Germany.

In addition, conceptional work for possible gender budgeting
analyses within central research programmes were done.
