Ethnic Entrepreneurship in Vienna

Ethnic Entrepreneurship is an indispensable part of Vienna’s economy. At the same time, the valid knowledge about the actual size and structure of this segment is rather limited, as well as the scientific insight into the employment situation and the quality of jobs.
The study attempted to fill this knowledge gap and aimed to increase knowledge about ethnic entrepreneurship in Vienna by using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The report provides informations on the structure of the self-employed migrants, as well as insights into the in-company procedures with a specific focus on the situation of employees.
