Accompanying evaluation of basic education in Lower Austria

In
May 2008, a pilot project course was started that aimed at linking basic
education with political education. In addition to basic competencies in
language and mathematics, knowledge about how society functions is an essential
basis for active societal participation. The development and reflection of
political views as well as the knowledge about political processes can be
regarded as important elements of active participation in social life. L&R
Social Research conducted the accompanying evaluation of this course.
