Survey results: Evaluation of AusbildungsFit and pre-module

03.06.2024

In the course of an evaluation by L&R Social Research, the ‘AusbildungsFit’ (AFit, formerly Production School) offers, which are aimed at young people with post-maturity needs, were analysed in terms of their value and their integrative, labour market policy impact.

The analyses show the value of the programmes: The young people in the target group face multiple problems and experience various forms of discrimination and disadvantage, to which AusbildungsFit can respond. In particular, the individualised approach, practical learning and lower pressure to perform compared to other structures in the training system can have a positive effect on the development of participants. However, it is also clear that increased challenges (due to the coronavirus pandemic, wars or inflation) and upstream structural problems (especially in the education system) represent obstacles that cannot be fully compensated for by the programme.
