KOOP AT-RO: Cooperation on Labour Market Policy between Austria and Romania 2009-2011

The project “KOOP AT-RO: Cooperation on Labour Market Policy between Austria and Romania 2009-2011” was launched in 2009.

The aims, listed hereafter, were implemented through bilateral workshops, seminars and a conference:

• Institutionalising long-term cooperation between the two countries by establishing a network of actively involved employment market experts from various different institutions.
• Exchanging and generating knowledge and opportunities for the development of innovative approaches in the field of employment market policy.

Of primary interest among the thematic focus areas of this project were an active employment market policy including its funding and the integration of disadvantaged groups into working life.

ÖSB Consulting GmbH was responsible for the execution and the overall coordination of the project. Regarding the operational implementation of the project ÖSB was supported by L&R Social Research, Vienna, and the ÖSB’s branch office in Romania.
