Training programme Vojvodina

The “Qualification programme Vojvodina” project addressed an acute needs situation in this Serbian region, namely a lack of competences concerning the consulting and support of founders of businesses. As a matter of fact, the low number of foundations of businesses constitutes a key problem of the regional as well as the national Serbian labour market policy, as it is also a reason for the slow creation of new jobs. This project provided selected experts from the employment market service and the Guarantee Fund with the necessary qualifications for the support of business founders.

Measures conducted during the project framework:

  • Trainings for newly employed counsellors at the public employment service
  • Imparting of additional qualifications for already employed counsellors at the public employment service
  • Trainings for unemployed persons willing to found a business
  • Trainings for small and medium-sized enterprises that have already received grants through employment market policy
  • Trainings for the Guarantee Fund

Measures to support awareness towards this issue:

  • Conference for the presentation of this qualification programme
  • Workshop: Cooperation of the regional employment service with enterprises and social partners
  • Workshop: Cooperation of the regional employment service with organisations of continuing education – building a cooperation structure
  • Final conference for the presentation of results
