Survey on complementary care for persons with mental illnesses in Vienna

L&R Social Research conducted a survey on complementary care for persons with mental illnesses in Vienna, commissioned by the Municipal Department for Health Care and Social Welfare Planning (MA 24). The aim of the survey was to identify currently available offers in the areas of housing, daily structure, work and counselling. The data collected in the survey should serve to systematically increase the information already available and to further enhance the basis for planning in Vienna.

The survey was based on an instrument which is starting to be implemented internationally, called the European Mental Health Service Mapping Schedule (ESMS-b).
