The situation of home care by relatives in the Austrian-Hungarian border region

Due to the aging of the population and thus to an increase of dependent persons home care by relatives is becoming more and more relevant.

The study focused on the Austrian-Hungarian border region. Beneath legal bases regional offers from organisations and institutions as well as their accessibility were in the foreground. The aim was to give an overview of the situation, which should be the point of departure for further cross-border projects and measures to make the everyday life easier for affected persons.
