Evaluation of the grant for skilled employees

Since 2013 the grant for skilled employees is accessible for low- and middle-skilled employees as well as unemployed persons to be trained as skilled workers in shortage occupations. This labour market measure opens new perspectives for different groups of workers to enhance their qualification and/or position on the labour market or to change their profession.

The study at hand analyses the effects of the programme from the perspective of participants. Furthermore the instrument itself shall be examined in order to make visible its strengths and weaknesses.
