Evaluation of the regional goal 2018: Additional apprenticeships on the labour market Burgenland

In Burgenland, the number of young people looking for an apprenticeship has increased during the last years. Therefore in 2017 in one district of Burgenland a pilot project was started to create additional apprenticeships with an outcome of plus 21. In 2018 the project was extended to whole Burgenland aiming at creating 100 additional places for apprenticeships.

The study analyses the effects of those projects on the labour market not only in the context of numbers of additional apprenticeships but also with a focus on aspects like enhanced cooperation of the PES and social partners in order to reach the target group or satisfaction of enterprises with the procedure and content of the projects.
