mobility4work - Mobility for the digitalised world of work

07.05.2021

The possibilities for location-independent work, for example through home office or teleworking, are increasing and becoming more and more attractive. The boundaries between private and professional spheres are blurring in terms of time and space. However, this increases the demands on the flexibility of employees with regard to their mobility and at the same time requires a physical mobility offer adapted to this flexibilisation. However, digitalisation is also seen as having the potential to reduce physical transport costs and thus make a possible contribution to achieving energy and climate goals.

Especially in passenger mobility, and here in particular in public transport, innovative concepts are in demand, alternatives to a mobility offer that is still strongly oriented towards traditional commuting times. For public transport, this means that more flexible offers such as "mobility on demand" will play a greater role in a demand-oriented transport offer.

The final report on the project is now available for download.
